noel Noel Tovey (Australia) : Noel Tovey (born 1934) is an Australian dancer, actor, mentor, director, choreographer and activist. Born in Melbourne, the son of an Aboriginal/ New Zealand mother and father of Scottish-African descent, Tovey endured sexual abuse, neglect and poverty throughout his childhood and adolescence. Despite this hardship he went on to become successful in the theatre in both Australia and London.  As an actor he shared the stage with Vera Lynn, Judy Garland and Steven Berkoff, while later he taught movement at Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. Selected to do the original choreography for the West End musical The Boyfriend, Tovey’s research into the 1920s opened up yet more doors. He became a consultant on a range of films, from The Great Gatsby to Murder on the Orient Express , and used his specialist knowledge to open a decorative art gallery in Fulham.before returning to Australia in 1990. Tovey is openly gay and has spoken out for the rights of LGBT elders. In June 2010 Tovey was recognised for his contribution to the LGBT community by becoming the 2010 recipient of the {also} Foundation For All of Us Lifetime Achievement Award and a finalist for the 2014 Australian Human Rights Medal.

mamie Mamie Van Doren (USA) : Mamie Van Doren is simply, a legend. An American actress, model, singer, and sex symbol who is known for being one of the first actresses to recreate the look of Marilyn Monroe. Mamie is perhaps best remembered for bringing rock and roll music alive in the B-musical Untamed Youth (1957) as the first actress to sing rock ‘n roll in an American musical film. A star in a number of B-movies, Mamie has over the years become a much admired advocate for social justice and change. During the Vietnam War, she did tours for U.S. troops for three months in 1968, and again in 1970. In addition to the USO shows, she visited hospitals, including the wards of amputees and burn victims. Socially and politically outspoken on a wide range of topics and still the epitome of class and glamour, Mamie Van Doren continues to lead and inspire in public and on social media.

junior Junior Mance (USA) : Junior Mance, born Julian Clifford Mance, Jr., in Chicago, Illinois on October 10, 1928 is a jazz pianist, composer, author of “HOW TO PLAY BLUES PIANO”, and recording artist of thirty plus albums as a leader and numerous recordings as a sideman. Junior began playing the piano at the age of five, but did not begin formal training until the age of eight. He started playing professionally during his early teens. He attended Roosevelt College in Chicago as a music major. Over his life, Junior has played with just about everybody! Charlie Parker, Coleman Hawkins, Dinah Washington, Cannonball Adderley to name but a few. On November 21, 1997, at Tampa Florida, Junior was inducted into THE INTERNATIONAL JAZZ HALL OF FAME, an honor Junior is extremely proud of, being in the elite company of many of his heroes, both past and present.
